THE WONDER SUMMIT
REIMAGINING CONGREGATIONAL WORSHIP & PRAYER WITH CHILDREN

VALUES
RELIABLY UNITED METHODIST
We commit to content, theology, processes, and messages that are unquestioningly United Methodist.
BIBLE: SERIOUSLY, NOT LITERALLY
We take the Bible seriously as God's living Word, using tradition, reason, and experience to interpret it faithfully.
ROOTED IN GRACE
We ground our ministry in God's grace, creating safe and brave spaces where children, leaders, and congregations grow in faith, love, and service without judgement or shame.
CELEBRATING DIVERSITY
We honor the richness of God's creation by lifting up the diverse voices, cultures, and perspectives that strengthen our ministry with children.
SPIRIT-LED COLLABORATION
We believe in working together-across churches, conferences, and communities-trusting the Spirit to guide us into shared learning and collective impact.
CHILD-LIKE WONDER
We commit to providing immersive worship experiences for all so that people may embody the play of the Holy Spirit and the wonder of children.

OUR SPEAKERS
Mitch Marcello
Founder & Director of Innovate Imago
Mitch believes that in a rapidly changing world, creativity isn’t a luxury for the few, it’s a God-given necessity for all of us. He loves helping leaders, teams, and whole communities uncover the creative spark God has already woven into them and put it to work for Kingdom-shaped impact. Mitch has partnered with everyone from local churches and college campuses to architecture studios and law firms, walking alongside them as they cultivate spaces where holy imagination and innovation can thrive. At the heart of his approach is a simple conviction: innovation begins with people. When we understand how God has made us, stay curious about the world, and dare to see challenges through a different lens, new possibilities open up. When he’s not exploring the intersections of faith and creativity, Mitch and his wife, Elizabeth, are joyfully chasing after their two-year-old son, Rowan - who reminds them daily that wonder is a spiritual discipline.
